We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the success of Magdalena Bay, the breakout pop duo that’s capturing attention worldwide — and whose roots trace back to right here at Live! School of Music.

Before headlining international festivals and gaining acclaim for their futuristic sound, Mica Tenenbaum, Matthew Lewin, and Nick Villamizar were standout students in our performance-based programs. Whether they were rocking our showcases or experimenting in the studio, it was clear from the start that they were pushing creative boundaries.

Magdalena Bay’s genre-blending style, innovative visuals, and DIY spirit are a true reflection of the values we champion at Live! — creativity, collaboration, and bold self-expression. We’re honored to have played a part in their early musical journey and can't wait to see what they do next.
